Police investigating early morning homicide in Durham

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Durham police are investigating a homicide that happened in the early morning hours of Sunday.

Police were called to the 3000 block of Guess Road about 5 a.m.  When they arrived they found a man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.  No suspects have been identified at this time. 

This shooting is the latest in a violent weekend.  A man and woman were shot in broad daylight on Liberty St. Saturday afternoon.  They are in serious condition.

 

Saturday evening, four people were shot at an apartment complex on Chapel Hill Road around 9:30 p.m.  All of those victims are reported to have non-life threatening injuries.
