The Wilson Police Department has confirmed that the body found on I-95 belongs to a woman that went missing after a wreck that occurred on Wednesday.
On Thursday around 9:52 a.m., police responded to the northbound side of I-95 in reference to an unidentified body being located.
Police arrived on the scene and said they found the body near the accident scene, outside the roadway.
They set up a perimeter and the northbound side of I-95 was closed.
Police were able to confirm by fingerprint comparison that the unidentified body located was of Jocelyn Hernandez.

Police are trying to locate a woman who was involved in a vehicle accident that occurred on Wednesday in Wilson.
The Wilson Police Department said that Jocelyn Hernandez was involved in a vehicle accident on Raleigh Road Parkway at I-95.
Police arrived on the scene and said they were unable to locate her.
Investigation showed that Hernandez may have intentions of harming herself.
Hernandez is described as a Hispanic woman with black hair, approximately 5’2 and 220lbs.
