Rose Falls in 4A Eastern Volleyball Final

GREENVILLE (WNCT) – JH Rose took the first set against Cardinal Gibbons in the 4A Eastern voleyball final on Tuesday night.

The Crusaders dominated the rest of the way, beating Rose 3-1 to advance to the 4A state finals. Cardinal Gibbons will be going for the school’s 16th state title in volleyball. The Crusaders are the defending 3A state champions.

Briley Brind’Amour led the way with 23 kills. Emma Longley had 22 for the Crusaders.

Rose was led by Shelby Casey with 14 kills. Maggie Hallow and Caroline Kuhn both had 13 kills.

Rose finished the year with a 23-2 record.
