GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Several schools in the East are receiving special assistance from the Panasonic Foundation.
On Monday night Superintendents from Jones, Duplin, Pender and Sampson counties signed a partnership with the Panasonic Foundation and ECU’s School of Education.
Panasonic partners with schools like ECU as a local lead while suppling teaching coaches to visit local schools to help with needs.
Those schools participating are excited about the assistance they will receive.
Austin Obaschan, Duplin County Superintendent said, “The opportunities it provides for coaching and capacity building across the school system is going to be very outstanding to bring the best practices for our teachers and staff.”
Panasonic started the foundation 30 years ago to mark it’s 50th anniversary in America.
