GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Hoggard rallied to beat 2-seed Conley 5-2 to end the Vikings season in the fourth round of the NCHSAA State Playoffs.
Meanwhile in softball, the defending 4A state champions Conley shut out Wake Forest 6-0 to advance to the East Regional Finals.
Rose also had its heroic playoff run come to an end thanks to a 2-1 loss at Green Hope.
