Tickets are going quickly for the ECU football game against UNC this weekend, with the potential for a sell-out.
The university has already sold more tickets than last week’s game.
So far, 40,000 tickets have been sold for Saturday’s matchup, leaving about 8,000 tickets left.
That may sound like a lot, but Scott Lane, associate athletics director for ticket sales and services, said they can go quickly.
The last time ECU sold out a game at Dowdy-Ficklen was in 2016 against NC State.
“Obviously, the rivalry between us and the Tar Heels, they are going to bring fans,” said Lane. “That helps as well. There’s a lot of local interest in the game, and I think all of those factors combined”
Tickets are going for $65 a piece, no matter where you sit.
