Two people were arrested on drug charges after investigators say they sold crack cocaine to undercover agents at a house in Beaufort County.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office says on March 15, 2019, investigators with the BCSO Drug Unit executed a search warrant at a house located at 1874 Old Blounts Creek Road in Chocowinity, after undercover agents had previously made several purchases of crack cocaine at the house.
Inside the house, investigators and K-9 Bodi found crack cocaine and packaging material used to package crack cocaine.
Officers arrested two residents of the home, Joe Myers, 55 and Candace Woolard, 34.
Myers was charged with 2 counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Crack Cocaine, Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Storing and Selling a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Woolard was charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Myers is being held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $10,000.00 bond.
Woolard is being held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $2,500.00 bond.
