Valentine’s Day wreck leaves car flipped, power lines down


GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – A car flips on its side after running into a power pole Wednesday evening.

The accident happened on Memorial Drive in front of the U.S. Post Office.

Greenville police on scene said two people were inside the van when it flipped on its side.

GPD is not reporting injuries and says it was a one-vehicle incident.

No word on what led to the van running off the road.

Greenville Utilities was called on scene to replace the power pole

GPD said they will be using their street cameras and witness accounts to piece together what happened.

A Valentine’s Day wreck off of Memorial Drive and Arlington Boulevard causes some traffic detours. The accident scene is in the United States Post Office parking lot.
