A Virginia man was found probable cause for arrest in 2016 Select Bank & Trust robbery in Elizabeth City.
Vernon E. Green II, of Virginia, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by felon.
On March 26, Sergeant Eddie Graham presented the case to the Pasquotank County Grand Jury.
The incident occurred on May 18, 2016 on South Hughes Boulevard.
Sergeant Graham along the FBI Agent Kevin Duprey from Dare County and FBI Task Force Officers in Virginia started a plan Tuesday to capture Green.
Authorities said that Green was currently on Virginia probation.
Green showed up at the Probation and Parole Office and was taken into custody by the FBI Task Force.
Authorities said Green was arrested on a fugitive warrant and is being held in Virginia custody without bond and awaiting extradition back to North Carolina.
Green is scheduled to make an appearance in the 7th Judicial Circuit Court in Newport News, Virginia, on April 25.
