Wayne Co. Sheriff’s Office arrests 3 on meth charges in traffic stops

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCT) – Wayne County deputies arrested three people on methamphetamine possession charges during two unrelated traffic stops Wednesday.

Two men were arrested when a deputy stopped a car for a regulatory violation on NC 111 and found about two grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle.

Corey Manuel, 33, of Dudley, and Lloyd Whaley, 57, of Seven Springs, were both charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Regan Modica, 18, of La Grange, was arrested in a separate traffic stop on Park Avenue where deputies found 0.5 grams of meth in the vehicle.
