WILSON, NC (WNCT) – Wilson Police are investigating a homicide after one person was found dead.

Police responded to a home in Wilson at approximately 10 p.m. Friday. 41-year-old Kenan Lamont Newton was found dead upon arrival.

Neighbors reported hearing several gunshots. However, the cause of death has not yet been released.
