Greenville, N.C. (WNCT) - An energetic, curious 12-year-old Dakota loves to live an active lifestyle. He enjoys climbing trees, playing outside, riding his bike, and learning different things.
"I like basketball, well I like all sports actually, but I like sports in general," adds Dakota.
Dakota hopes to become a basketball player when he gets older. His favorite player is Steph Curry with the Golden State Warriors.
"He has a lot of energy, he loves to talk, he loves to know...you know? There's never a quiet moment with Dakota," says Liz Mincey, Dakota's caseworker.
Dakota is also described to be very inquisitive and isn't afraid to ask questions.
"My favorite subject is math, and then my second favorite is reading, " says Dakota.
Dakota desires an energetic, young mom and dad. He would like other siblings as well. A pet dog would be a bonus too.
"I can't go back to my momma unless I'm 18. I don't want to keep bouncing around from home to home," explains Dakota.
