Tiffany may be quiet when you first meet her, but WNCT’s Angie Quezada had the chance to witness first hand her compassion and ambition.
From hitting the bowling lanes at B &B Lanes in Fayetteville, N.C. To playing a smooth game of pool, Tiffany’s gentle spirit was welcoming.
“I’m fun to hang out with,” says Tiffany.
Her case worker Jasmine Shepherd has been working with Tiffany for a few months now.
“She’s shy at first, but she has a little spunk to her, she loves talking, she loves music,” explained Shepherd.
Also, Tiffany loves children and hopes to open up her own daycare one day.
“Some kids need help like me, when I was younger,” expressed Tiffany.
“She doesn’t want to work in the daycare, she wants to own it. So she already has a business plan, she has the format of her daycare plan, she is ready to go,” added Shepherd.
Tiffany enjoys school and loves to read.
“I’m smart at school, I get good grades, and I like helping people that need help,” adds Tiffany.
The ideal family for Tiffany will be patient and nurturing.
“Ideal, two parent home, a sibling, or siblings would be great for Tifanny. She loves her little brother; as long as she can keep in contact with a little bit of her family, she’s fine with that,” says Shepherd.
Behind Tiffany’s timid ways Shepherd know’s there’s a more to her that meets the eye.
“Tiffany is full of energy, she’s quite, it takes her a while to break down her walls. But when she finally breaks down her walls, she will let you know anything and everything. She forgets her past, and that’s a blessing and a curse. So she’s a clean slate, so that’s really good for her, ” expresses Shepherd.
