Detectives from the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office made some arrests as a result of a two-month drug investigation.
Officials made two arrests on Thursday.
Travis Earl Jordan, 39, of Greenville, was charged with:
- Three counts of trafficking in cocaine
- Three counts of maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances
- Three counts of conspiracy to traffic in cocaine.
Jordan was sen to the Pitt County Detention Center under a $1 million bond.
Raquel Lamonte Atkinson, 26, of Farmville, was charged with:
- Two counts trafficking in cocaine
- One count maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances
- Five counts of conspiracy to traffic in cocaine
Atkinson was sent to the Pitt County Detention Center under a $1 million bond.
During the investigation, almost 568 grams of cocaine were seized with an approximate street value of $60,000, officials said.
The investigation continues and more arrests are expected.
