21 arrested, 3 wanted after ‘Operation Quick Impact’ in Craven County

A drug round-up headed by the Craven County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of 21 people.

The round-up is a result of several community complaints of drug activities, possession, and selling illegal narcotics.  

The Craven County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, the Craven County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, the New Bern Police Department Narcotics Unit, and the Bridgeton Police Department (CNET-Coastal Narcotics Enforcement Team) have been investigating the complaints all through the Craven County area. 

Craven Co. Sheriff Chip Hughes said, “I want all the drug dealers to know, they need to be wondering every night when they go to bed, whether or not we are going to be knocking on their door.”

The investigation led to approximately 40 charges being issued.

  • Ramsey Fields-Pack, 24, of New Bern, was charged with felony trafficking heroin. 
  • Braelyn Jaminson Blount, 27, of New Bern, was charged with three felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver heroin.
  • Juan Martin, 41, of New Bern, was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver heroin and felony possession of cocaine.
  • Randon Lee Sudul, 38, of New Bern, was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver heroin.
  • Alton Green, 43, of Ernul, was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver heroin and felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine. 
  • Kabrio Donquirius Abrams, 19, of Cove City, was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver heroin and felony conspire to sell or deliver cocaine. 
  • Anthony Hinshaw, 23, of New Bern was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver heroin.
  • Otis Burnell Croner Jr, 27, of New Bern, was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver heroin.
  • Felicia Ann Goins, 41, of New Bern, was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver heroin and felony possession of cocaine.
  • Sarah Nicole Hardy, 34, of New Bern, was charged with felony possession of heroin. 
  • Adam Christopher Petteway, 36, of New Bern, was charged with felony possession of heroin. 
  • Danielle Marie Hart, 28, of New Bern, was charged with two counts felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine. 
  • Elvin Ray Ballard, 50, of New Bern, was charged with two counts felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine. 
  • Erica Joyce Ireland, 27, of New Bern, was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine.
  • Richard Earl Harper, 54, of Cove City, was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and felony maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance. 
  • Blake Raymond Hill, 19, of New Bern, was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine. 
  • George Thomas Tucker Jr, 33, of Ayden, was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine. 
  • Larry Mayfield Minor Jr, 23, of New Bern, was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession of a firearm by a felon, felony possession of a stolen firearm, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, resisting a public officer, driving while license revoked, and failure to dim Lights meeting another vehicle. 
  • Cassandra Pruitt, 23, of New Bern, was charged with misdemeanor possession schedule IV controlled substance. 
  • Joshua Floyd Frazier, 27, of Bath, was charged with felony robbery with a firearm, three counts assault with a deadly weapon-minor present. 
  • Maurice Simpson, 40, of Washington, was charged with felony robbery with a firearm, three counts assault with a deadly weapon-minor present.

The following subjects are wanted by the Sheriff’s Office:

  • Jimmie Cleophus Lee Jr, 32, of New Bern, is wanted for felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver schedule II controlled substance. 
  • Victoria Nychelle Green, 28, of New Bern, is wanted for felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver heroin. 
  • Dezzie Johnson, 34, of Havelock, is wanted for felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine.
     

Hughes says his office will not stop until they take care of the drug problem in Craven County, he says a lot of the drugs are coming in on the roadways and they have some things in the works that will address that issue as well.
