A man was arrested and charged with methamphetamine-related crimes after a months-long investigation in Lenoir County
The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office says in December 2018, Narcotics Unit detectives began an investigation into a man who was allegedly selling methamphetamine in the county.
During the investigation, detectives made multiple controlled purchases of Crystal Methamphetamine from 37-year-old Jerry Andrew Howard Jr., at his home on Jerry Lane in Pink Hill.
On April 11, deputies arrested Howard Jr., and charged him with two counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, two counts of selling Methamphetamine, and two counts of delivering Methamphetamine.
Howard was also wanted for failure to appear in court on previous drug-related charges in Duplin County and previous forgery and obtaining property under false pretense from Lenoir County.
Howard is being held in the W.E. Smith Detention Facility on a bond of $130,000.00.
