Seven people were arrested and face drug charges after a multi-week investigation resulted in a heroin and cocaine bust in Edgecombe County.
Edgecombe County Sheriff Clee Atkinson said members of the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office have been conducting investigations and arresting people allegedly involved in distributing heroin and other illegal drugs across the county.
Atkinson says other arrests are expected in the coming weeks as investigations continue.
Here are the seven suspects arrested in the most-recent drug bust:
Tylius Burell Daniels, 39 years old, Rocky Mount, NC
Charges: 3 counts of Sell/Deliver Heroin, 3 counts of Posession with intent to Sell Heroin
Bond: $125,000
Devonty Janell Pitt, 29 years old, Elm City, NC
Charges: 2 counts of Sell/Deliver Heroin, 2 counts of Maintain a Vehicle to Sell Heroin
Bond: $90,000
Darrell Edwin Willis Jr., 30 years old, Rocky Mount, NC
Charges: 2 counts of Trafficking in Heroin, 2 counts of Possession with the intent to sell Heroin, 2 counts of Maintain a Place to Sell Heroin
Bond: $60,000
Lakeevis Montiaye Grant, 23 years old, Rocky Mount, NC
Charges: 2 counts of Trafficking in Heroin, 2 Counts of Sell/Deliver Heroin, 2 counts of Possession with intent to sell Heroin, 2 counts of Sell/Deliver Heroin
Bond: $60,000
Jeremee Epps, 23 years old, Pinetops, NC
Charges: 6 counts of Trafficking in Heroin, 2 counts Sell/Deliver Heroin
Bond: $20,000
Julius Mckeller, 27 years old, Rocky Mount, NC
Charges: 2 counts of Sell/Deliver Heroin, 2 counts of Possession with intent to sell Heroin
