East Carolina senior wide receiver Trevon Brown has had his ups and downs during his career at ECU.

He has struggled with injuries and off the field problems during that time. Brown says that’s the past and he is looking forward to a huge final year.

The Wilmington, North Carolina product  has 115 catches and 15 touchdowns over the last four seasons. In 2017 he led the Pirates in receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns and all-purpose yards.

Brown says the best is yet to come.

“I’ve come so far,” Brown said after practice Tuesday morning. “I’ve had great mentors like Justin Hardy, Zay Jones, Jimmy Williams and Davon Grayson. They taught me to bring it every day and not just on game day. They taught me that you never know who’s watching.”

Brown will be a key element to an offense that will not have very much experience at the quarterback position.
