Pitt Bulldogs see win streak snapped by Patrick Henry

The Pitt Community College men’s basketball team saw their 11-game win streak snapped on Sunday afternoon when they fell to Patrick Henry Community College 76-72 in a back and forth game.

Former Riverside Knight and current Bulldog, Ben Cox led Pitt in scoring with 16 points. Former Kinston standout Reginald Clark was the only other Bulldog in double figures as he chipped in 10 points.

Pitt struggled shooting the ball in this one as the team was just 1-10 from three and shot 39% from the field.

The loss is the Bulldogs first conference loss of the season. They will look to bounce back on Saturday when they host Wake Technical Community College at 3 p.m.
