Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones was arrested Friday in Las Vegas on a domestic violence charge, according to Clark Country Detention Center records.

Jones allegedly violated a temporary protective order, according to jail records. No further details about Jones’s arrest have been given by local police at this time, but he remains in custody as of Friday morning PT. His bail was listed at $15,000, according to jail records.

Jones, 33, has been away from the Raiders since the start of the season with what the franchise has repeatedly referred to as a “personal issue.” The team placed him on the non-football illness list on Sept. 20 but reportedly did not rule out a possible return this season should his status change.

Jones has drawn attention to the situation with a number of bizarre and upsetting social media posts, some of which directly named and criticized Raiders owner Mark Davis, general manager Dave Ziegler and coach Josh McDaniels.

On Monday, he wrote on social media that he had been held at a hospital “against my will” by the Las Vegas Fire Department before being transferred to a behavioral health center late last week.
