One resident in Pink Hill is hoping to bring positivity to the community by opening a newly renovated event venue.

Fisherman Has Plenty of Crocs for Company at 'Infamous' River Crossing in Australia A fisherman had plenty of company – of the crocodile kind – as he cast his line from the edge of an “infamous” river crossing in Australia’s Northern Territory. Videos taken by Jody Chisholm show her dad, identified by local media as Sean “Chizo” Chisholm, calmly fishing as crocodiles lurk at Cahills Crossing in Kakadu National Park. Another clip shows an SUV needing to slow down to let a crocodile pass by as it drives over the crossing. Sydney Zoo Animals Beat the Heat With Icy Treats Animals at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo are beating the heat and keeping cool thanks to some tasty treats. “As temperatures soar, we must keep our animals comfortable and provide plenty of shade and fresh cool water,” keeper Emily Partridge said, adding that “enrichment items” can also be provided. Galapagos Tortoise Celebrates 57th Birthday in Style at Australian Zoo A Galapagos tortoise celebrated his 57th birthday in style at the Perth Zoo in Western Australia on Tuesday, September 19. Staff at Perth Zoo treated Cerro to a huge fruit cake, made up of watermelon, rockmelon, and hibiscus flowers. Footage posted by the zoo shows Cerro happily munching away on his birthday treat. Dinosaur Skeleton Known as 'Barry' Goes on Sale in Paris Auction A 150 million-year-old dinosaur skeleton, known as Barry, is set to be auctioned in Paris. According to the Drouot auction center, the dinosaur is an adult specimen of Camptosauridae, a member of the family Iguanodontidae, one of the earliest groups of dinosaurs discovered. The skeleton was discovered in the early 2000s in Wyoming, USA, by paleontologist Barry James, after whom it is named. It measured approximately five meters in length and stood at about two meters in height, constituting a uniquely complete and well-preserved specimen. According to Drouot’s media release, the specimen comprises a very high percentage of original bone, with over 80% of the specimen being intact. Thunderstorms Traverse Eastern Nebraska Thunderstorms rolled through the greater Omaha, Nebraska, area on Tuesday, September 19, as the National Weather Service (NWS) warned of potential downpours.
